George Kyrtsis joins Core Development as partner

George Kyrtsis, who brings an impressive background in international real estate and hospitality, has joined Core Development as a partner.  He works with Core on all facets of development, including acquisition, financing and project management.

For the last 10 years, George has focused on the hospitality industry as Principal of Recess Collective, developing high end, short term rental properties in Athens, Mykonos, New York and Philadelphia.  He studied Economics at the London School of Economics.  George grew up in Athens and has lived in London, Los Angeles, New York, Sydney and Paris.

George lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, Nicky Kyrtsis, who is Principal Designer of Recess Collective, as well as a film, TV and Broadway designer.

Recent projects that have benefitted from George’s experience include Pine Street, Cricket Flats, and The Cedar.
