Cricket Flats Wins Best in American Living and Montgomery Awards

Cricket Flats and Shops, Core Development’s five-story, mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Ardmore, PA, has received the 2021 “Best in American Living” Award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), as well as the 2021 “Montgomery Award” from the Montgomery County Planning Commission.

Both of these prestigious awards recognize design and planning excellence, as well as high quality craftsmanship and environmental stewardship.  Core Development’s commitment to location, design, sustainability and service are reflected in the success of Cricket Flats.

Cricket Flats is the capstone of Core Development’s redevelopment of Cricket Avenue in Ardmore. The project is the assemblage of four properties in the town’s historic district, which were demolished and redeveloped into a 175,000 square feet, five-story mixed-use building. Cricket Flats includes 77 luxury apartment units, 12,000 square feet of retail space and a 105 space parking garage with EV chargers. Luxury amenities include a fitness center, roof top terrace, green roof, meeting space, lounge, secure covered bicycle parking, shared culinary kitchen and raised bed gardens for tenants.

The project was designed by BartonPartners Architects Planners and built by the How Construction Group.  The interiors were designed by DAS.
