The Modules, is one of the largest LEED-rated modular student housing buildings in the country. The Modules is a 160-bed, 80,000 square-foot building on a half-acre site near Temple University in Philadelphia. Capitalized on pre-fabrication as a construction tactic to control cost, speed and waste, and to deliver a high level of performance on a minimal budget. The building’s ultra-efficient modular construction process allowed for cost and energy savings through a compressed, 12-month design and construction schedule. The Modules project offers students full-service housing with cutting-edge amenities, including energy-efficient appliances and fixtures, safe and convenient keyless entry, and high speed wireless internet. Architectural features include large operable windows, light filed common spaces, contemporary finishes, and a green roof terrace with dramatic views of the Philadelphia skyline.
